Day 18......of 30 poems in 30 days....
Happy Tuesday...

Today's guest artiste is the Luscious Lynda McCraight...

This is a story of love and lust.................

We sat beached whales on
That beach in Wales it was
That hot I felt that
Hot that
I had to kiss you

My arm snaked round your shoulder
My legs crossed I leaned in closer
My chest crushed
Your breasts first one
Then the other
Your knees parted ever so slightly
And allowed me in
Your lips parted really quite widely
And halloed me in

SUDDENLY –
Our tongues touched
And there was no stopping us
NOTHING could stop us

Your tongue became my tongue
Your mouth became my mouth
And we were DEVOURED
By a kiss

(it was bliss)

Love vs Lust

It is ‘LUST’ if

You focus on his body and good looks more than anything else. If it was love at first sight, try to figure out what exactly is it that made you fall in love with him. Was it his charm? Was it his behavior? Was it his smile? Or was it only his looks and hot body? Have you actually looked at the inner person and evaluated his characteristics? Have you found out if he has a wonderful heart? If not, it surely is only lust.
You are only interested in having sex with him. You always fantasize about the most intimate moments you spend with him and really do not care about all the other things that you do together. If everything else you do is only a preparation for sex, then you are not in love with him. You are interested only in the physical relation which will wear out over time.
You love him but not as a friend. There is no doubt that you love him but only as a lover. So you put up with everything else as your main focus is sex. But true love involves friendship. You have to be intricately involved with person at all levels and everything you do together, not only sex. If such is not the case, then surely it is lust.

It is ‘LOVE’ if

You want to spend quality time with him. The time you spend together is something you really cherish and look forward to. If you are not only interested in sleeping with him, but be with him at all times happy and sad, then you are in love.
You motivate him as a person and vice versa. If you constantly desire his success and keep him motivated to achieve his goals and he does the same for you, then you are in love. If his joy gives you happiness and you wince when he gets hurt, you love him and it is definitely not only lust.
You love to have conversations with him and really enjoy listening to what he has to say. If you enjoy talking, then undoubtedly you are in love. In case of lust, the tendency is to avoid talking. If you share a lot with him and he talks to you about his day and if you want to listen to each other’s feelings, then you are in love.
