Happy Monday all....

Today's guest writer is Jules Larvan.

Her heartfelt poem explains to us all what its like to
suffer from depression.

Blank canvas or page

We are all born unique, a brand new little human
Some of us might be similar to someone else
But never quite the same
Every day we awake unsure what the day will bring
We are like a brand new canvas awaiting for a picture to be painted
Or a blank page waiting for a story to be told
We could stutter, Stumble or fall
Just try your best to stand straight and tall
Life throws us some quite harsh lessons to learn
There are times that we feel like everything could burn
Mental illness is no longer a myth
We don't have to feel so cold and alone
But sadly we do and cannot explain why
We find a quiet safe corner and bow are heads and cry
Hoping and praying that some day we may understand
Looking for someone to reach out and give us a helping hand
I myself have found a place that is slowly showing me the light
Giving me the strength to put up a fight
Fight my monsters and demons that are buried deep within
It really isn't my fault, it isn't a sin
Take control of my blank canvas or page
sometimes it's ok to scream and rage
I just ask you to be patient and give me my space
And hopefully soon I will find my place!!

A beautiful piece from Jules ending on a hopeful note !
