The Philosopher's sandwich

I want an existential sandwich
With extra light spread
The filling almost there
On gluten free bread

A philosophic sub
With the meat of the matter
Taste beyond buds
To make my mind fatter

Oh, how I long for
A butty with bite
That answers my questions
Deep in the night

The wholesome snack
That feeds my soul
The bready need
To meet all rolls
