NaPoWriMo, or National Poetry Writing Month, is an annual project in which participating
poets attempt to write a poem a day for the month of April.

Maureen Thorson, a poet and publisher of Big Game Books announced the project March 17, 2003 as an
online project on her blog. She invited other poets with blogs to join her in the project and listed
the participating poets. Thorson has continued to run the project each year on her blog with more

poets participating as the word has spread about the project.

Collide a Scope

White

Resting snow unique in its molecular design.
Until it melts and conforms, unsalted sky brine.

Red

A Passion, a hate,
the sign you should yield
Oxygenated blood
Within the skins thin
shield

Blue

Dead lips and cold
An endless sea
Depression and Mondays
The chill within me

Green

New lives
Tendrils stretching for the light
A carpet by nature
Traffic light go, green is sick in the night

Brown

Age and leather
A voice with deep timbre
A tree an eye
Leaves in September

Red is the first colour a baby sees.

The world’s most popular colour is ....Blue

Avoiding vehicular accidents? Choose a white car!

Yellow + Red = Hunger ..... This is why so many fast food logo's are this colour!

Mosquitoes love blue

“Bulls hate red” is a total myth.

Colours don’t exist! They’re all in your head. - Technically, colours are just results when our brains try to make sense of signals it receives from the outside.

Random Joke of The Day

I've been dating a homeless girl for a while now, it's going really well. I'm thinking about moving out with her.

Funny Phobia

Xanthophobia – Is the fear of the colour yellow

That's Amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing
